On the 8th October 2005 a devastating earthquake hit Pakistan leaving more than 80 000 people dead, more than 100 000 injured and 3,5 million people homeless. In response South Africa sent a rescue team that was deployed to Suddahngali, high in the Kashmir mountains in Northern Pakistan.
